I operate from Ireland as EI4HUB on 2m and from Germany as DL1DIL on 80m. The german shack has a PA based on two GI-7BT, following an ICOM IC-7300 driver stage.I am just changing aerials and etc. At the moment I fancy a Hy-Gain AV-680 9 Band vertical. It shall take a load of 1500 W output at key down for 2 min. At the moment I have not a precise idea what I can provide at the low end after the new cabling and russian vac relays have taken place.

Anyway, the order of magnitude will roughly be between 850 and 950 watts cw.
